1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide or generate while using the Service, including:

• Account information: your name, email address, password in hashed form, account creation date, and password-reset information.
• Style information: style goals, color preferences, presentation preferences, occasions, styling prompts, and other choices you submit.
• Wardrobe and optional person photos: clothing photos, item names, categories, colors, related details, and any person photo you choose to provide for a personalized visualization.
• Generated content: AI styling notes, selected wardrobe combinations, generated visualizations, and associated request details.
• Purchase information: Stripe checkout identifiers, payment status, purchased and remaining visualization credits, and limited billing references. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
• Optional approximate location: when you choose the local-weather feature and allow browser location access, your coordinates are used to request current weather. Style Vision AI does not save those coordinates to your account.
• Technical information: session information, IP address, browser or device information, request details, and security or error logs that may be created by our hosting infrastructure.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

• create and secure your account;
• store and organize your digital wardrobe;
• provide AI-generated styling suggestions and visualizations;
• provide weather-aware styling when you request it;
• process purchases, deliver credits, and handle refunds or support;
• send service messages such as password-reset emails;
• diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and protect the Service; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

We do not sell personal information, and the current Service does not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, our lawful bases for processing your personal information include the performance of a contract (such as providing the Service and processing payments), compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate business interests (such as improving the Service and preventing fraud).

3. AI processing

To provide AI features, selected wardrobe images, optional person photos, item descriptions, style preferences, prompts, and related content may be sent to OpenAI for processing. A person photo is used only to create the visualization you request and is not saved by Style Vision AI as a separate profile or wardrobe photo after that request finishes. The generated image and styling response may be stored in your account. Do not submit sensitive personal information or images you do not have permission to use. Style Vision AI does not use the Service to identify people, authenticate identity, or create biometric identifiers from a photograph.

4. When we disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers that help operate the Service, including:

• Microsoft Azure for application hosting, storage, networking, and operational logs;
• OpenAI for AI image and text processing;
• Stripe for checkout, payment processing, fraud prevention, and refunds; and
• Open-Meteo for current weather when you enable the local-weather feature; and
• email providers used to send account and support messages.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect users or the Service, investigate fraud or security incidents, or complete a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition. We do not authorize service providers to use your information for purposes unrelated to providing their services to us.

5. Cookies and sessions

The Service uses an essential session cookie to keep you signed in and protect account access. We do not currently use advertising cookies. Your browser may let you block cookies, but blocking the essential session cookie will prevent account features from working correctly.

Location access is optional and begins only after you select the local-weather control and approve the browser permission. Your browser sends the coordinates to Open-Meteo to retrieve current conditions. You can deny or revoke location permission through your browser and continue using the remaining Service.

When you choose an Amazon shopping link, your browser opens Amazon and sends the ordinary request information needed to load that site, along with our affiliate tag. Amazon then handles information under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment-card details from an Amazon purchase.

6. Data retention and deletion

We generally retain account information, wardrobe items, saved results, and unused-credit records while your account remains active. You can delete individual wardrobe items and generated visualizations through available controls in the Service. Signed-in users can permanently delete their account and associated stored images from the account controls. You may also request assistance by emailing support@stylevisionai.online from the address connected to your account.

We may retain limited transaction, fraud-prevention, security, backup, or legal records after a deletion request where reasonably necessary or required by law. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@stylevisionai.online. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You may also use an authorized agent where applicable by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information, including hashing account passwords and using encrypted network connections. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your password and notify us if you suspect unauthorized account access.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users who are at least 13 but below the age of legal majority where they live may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.

10. International processing

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have data-protection rules different from those where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here with a revised effective date and provide additional notice when required.
